Art Trade Requirements

Artwork must be fully colored/rendered.
Submit either a fully unwatermarked version, or both a watermarked and unwatermarked version.
Minimum requirement: one fully rendered headshot.

By submitting artwork, you agree that:

Kumi may use your artwork for profile pictures, banners, promotional posts, and branding, with credit.
Art trades only apply to avatars currently available in the store. WIPs and unreleased avatars are excluded.
Redemption codes are one-time use and may not be shared or reused.
All normal TOS rules still apply.

You may not edit or sculpt my head in any way. This includes using or modifying any of the head's premade blendshapes.

You may not add any meshes to my model's head, including but not limited to piercings, eyelashes, charms, accessories, or similar additions.

You may not remove anything that contains my name or branding from the model. This includes hair clips, chains, textures, or any other identifying features.

You may not take, extract, reuse, or redistribute anything from my models. No assets, textures, edits, or parts of my work may be used for personal or commercial projects.

Extreme editing is not allowed.

Examples include stripping the model apart, removing most of its features, or heavily altering the design beyond recognition. Please respect the time, effort, and creativity that went into creating my models.

You are welcome to change colors, textures, clothing, and hair. However, if you plan to completely replace the outfit, the hair must remain unchanged to keep the model recognizable. The same applies in reverse—if you completely change the hair, the outfit must remain recognizable.

If a model does not include a hair clip with my name but does include an ear chain, you must either:

Keep the original ears unchanged.
Transfer the ear chain to any replacement ears.
Add the included hair clip and ensure it is clearly visible, uses a metallic material, and is properly fitted to the model's bangs.

If you break my TOS, I'll reach out and ask you to update your edits so they comply with my terms. Whether you keep your model license after that depends on your willingness to follow the TOS. I love seeing personalized edits to my models, so please have fun and just keep them within the rules!

These rules apply to all of my work, regardless of how it was obtained, including purchased, gifted, free, giveaway, or event-won models.

All avatar and asset purchases are non-refundable.

Do not upload, share, or distribute my products to other accounts, friends, or third parties.

Do not claim my work as your own, even if you have modified or edited it.

Do not make any of my avatars public under any circumstances, regardless of any changes made to them.

Streaming while using my models is allowed, but you must provide direct credit to me.

My models may include both an SFW and NSFW version. The SFW version may not be edited, modified, or converted into an NSFW version. If an NSFW version is included, it must remain separate from the SFW version. Additionally, do not advertise, market, or promote my models primarily as NSFW content.

My models are created specifically for VRChat. Use outside of VRChat is not permitted unless you have received permission from me beforehand.

You're welcome to take general inspiration from my work, but copying or closely replicating any of my creations is not permitted. Any work inspired by mine should remain clearly original and not be a direct imitation.

By purchasing or using any of my products, you agree to my TOS. You may never reuse, copy, redistribute, or remake any part of my work.

Please make sure the information you provide is correct. Providing false or incorrect information may result in your license being revoked. If you make a mistake, just open a ticket in my Discord server so we can get it sorted out.

All rights to my work belong to me, and I reserve the right to update or change my TOS/TOU at any time.

You may not sell edits of my models.

This includes editing one of my models and then selling or distributing that edited version for payment.

Paid edit commissions involving my work are not automatically allowed. If you would like to offer or receive a paid commission using one of my models, you must contact me first for approval. Please include:

Who the commission is for.
Who will be creating the edit.

Both the commissioner and the editor must legally own all assets used in the edit, including (but not limited to) textures, outfits, accessories, hairstyles, and any other added content.

Creating an edit of my model and offering or selling it to others is considered reselling and is strictly prohibited

You may not upload, submit, or use any images, videos, renders, or other references of my models with any AI system. This includes generating AI content, editing existing images or videos with AI, or using my model designs to train or create AI-generated content.

All asset and texture purchases are non-refundable.

If you purchase an unlisted, unavailable, or discontinued product and it does not work or is no longer accessible, you will not be eligible for a refund.

My assets and textures may be used on public, private, and for-sale models only. They may not be used on free or Nitro models unless you have received my direct permission beforehand.

If my assets are used on a for-sale model, proper credit is required. Credit must include my name (Kumi) and a link to either my shop or Discord server.

If you use my work and I discover that I am banned from your server, you will lose permission to purchase and use my products.

Do not claim my work as your own. You may not use my assets, textures, or other creations unless they have been obtained directly from me through an authorized purchase or release.

If you have been banned from my server, you do not have permission to use any of my work, regardless of when or how it was obtained.
